Every revolution starts with little steps done by each and every one of us. In todays world where the power is in the hands of global companies some of the power needs to return to us - the simple people.
On of the ways for claiming our power back is by choosing open source alternatives over commercialized expensive software.
In this Blog I will try and describe my journey into the open source world and hopefully convince and help others do the transition.
A bit about me:
My name is Ilan I was born in south-africa in the year 1973, and grew up in Israel. Currently I am living in Israel. I work in media and marketing. I am not a computer programmer and I don’t aspire being one, this means that one of the motives in my journey is to search for user friendly open source alternatives which don’t require any computing knowledge.
